About the Design

This abstract design with a watercolor touch is expressed in contemporary colors. It features the characteristic borderless bleeding that occurs when paint spreads on paper. Because the boundaries between colors are blurred, it appears as a single colored surface from a distance, but upon closer inspection, multiple colors can be seen overlapping. This pattern has one of the richest color palettes in the collection, making it suitable for adding a splash of color to a room decorated in achromatic tones. The appearance of the pattern varies with each weave.

About This Color

MANAS rugs do not have color names and are managed by product number. 7777 is a layering of teal blue, ivory, and beige. Among the three colors, it has the strongest color, and a single rug can transform the floor into a work of art. Perfect for adding a single pop of color to a room decorated in achromatic tones. Ville is available in 3 colors: 2535, 6484, and 7777. Please check the actual colors in the photos.

How to Choose Size and Shape

A 160x230cm rug is suitable for a living room of about 6 tatami mats, placed in front of a sofa so that the front legs of the sofa rest on it. For a 2- to 2.5-seater sofa, the shorter side of the rug will be approximately aligned with the width of the sofa, creating a cohesive look. A 200x290cm rug is suitable for a room of about 8 tatami mats, or when you want to place both the sofa and the low table within the rug. A 133x195cm rug fits in places where you want to place only a part of the furniture, such as beside a bed, in a study, or in the center of a studio apartment. When using it in the dining room, aim for a size that is the table width plus 80cm on each side, so that the back legs of the chairs do not fall off when pulled out. In the bedroom, a good placement is to tuck the shorter side of the rug under the foot of the bed, with about one-third of the rug extending under the bed.

Material and Weave

The material is 55% polyester and 45% polypropylene. The pile height is 11mm. This height offers a good balance of comfort underfoot and ease of handling, making it suitable for both living rooms and dining rooms. Another advantage is that it is easier to vacuum than long-pile rugs. The weave is Wilton weave, a method in which pile yarns are woven into the base fabric. The pile weight is 3150g/㎡, with a 160x230cm rug weighing approximately 11.6kg. This is a standard density within this collection (2,650-3,300g/㎡). It is fire-retardant and can be used with floor heating and hot carpets. The country of origin is Belgium.

＜Delivery＞
Rugs are not eligible for free shipping. A shipping fee of 5,500 JPY will be charged.
Products will be delivered with an instruction manual, packed in a plastic wrap in a cylindrical shape. Packaging guidelines are approximately 15cm diameter x 145cm length for 133x195cm, 20cm diameter x 170cm length for 160x230cm, and 30cm diameter x 210cm length for 200x290cm (may vary slightly depending on the product).
Delivery will be by Sagawa Express courier service. Delivery will be to the doorstep or entrance. Drivers will not carry products indoors or install them.
Since products are shipped directly from the manufacturer's warehouse, we cannot accept requests for specific delivery dates or times.
Delivery to Okinawa Prefecture and some remote islands is not available.
Please check your搬入経路 (e.g., elevator, stairs, entrance width) in advance, especially for 200x290cm rugs, as the package length exceeds 2m.

＜Please check immediately after delivery＞
・Before use, please ensure that the product number, color number, and size are correct, and that there is no damage from transportation.
・Please unpack the product promptly after delivery. Do not store it in a sealed condition.
・When unpacking, be careful not to damage the product with cutters or other sharp objects.
・Do not store the rug vertically or stacked. This may cause creases or deformation.

＜Returns and Exchanges＞
・We do not accept returns or exchanges due to customer convenience.
・We cannot accept returns or exchanges for products after use.
・If the delivered product is defective or damaged during transportation, please check the condition immediately after unpacking and contact us promptly (at the latest within 5 days of product arrival).
・Rugs are not products manufactured by our company. After you contact us, we will confirm the condition, send the actual product to the manufacturer for inspection, and then discuss whether an exchange or return is possible. The longer the time passes, the more difficult it becomes to determine if the damage was caused during transportation, so please contact us as soon as possible.

＜Before laying＞
・When laying a rug, please clean the floor surface beforehand.
・After waxing or wet-wiping the floor, please lay the rug only after the floor surface is completely dry. Insufficient drying may cause marks from the rug to remain on the flooring material.
・On slippery floor surfaces such as flooring, we recommend using commercially available anti-slip sheets or similar products in conjunction. If simply placed, the rug may slip and cause falls.
・Using the rug while it is creased or wrinkled may cause tripping accidents.

＜About size and color＞
・Due to the nature of the product, there may be an error of approximately ±3% in the finished dimensions.
・The colors and textures of the product shown in the photos may differ from the actual product due to differences in monitors of personal computers or smartphones used by customers, and also due to shooting conditions.
・The appearance and visibility of patterns vary with each weave. The same pattern may not appear in the same position as in the published photos.

＜What happens with use＞
・Immediately after delivery, the rug may retain a curl from being rolled. This will gradually settle and disappear with a few weeks of use.
・If heavy objects such as furniture are left on the rug for a long period, the pile may be crushed and flattened (crushing). This is more likely to occur when strong localized pressure is applied.
・Rugs using cut pile may have areas where the direction of the pile nap becomes uneven during use, appearing as cloud-like color irregularities (clouding phenomenon). This is a characteristic of cut pile and is not a defect in quality.

＜Care and storage＞
・If the pile (nap) pops out, do not pull it forcefully. Carefully cut it from the base with scissors.
・When storing, roll it into a cylinder to prevent creases and wrinkles, lay it flat, and do not place heavy objects on top.

＜Precautions for use＞
・Using the rug in direct sunlight may accelerate surface fading and deterioration of the backing. Please take measures to block sunlight with curtains or blinds.
・Please note that using rubber covers on furniture legs may react with rug components, causing discoloration or color transfer.
・Localized pressure, such as from table legs, may leave indentations. Rotating the rug occasionally will make them less noticeable.
・When moving heavy furniture such as pianos or furniture with casters over the rug, always place plywood or thick cardboard underneath to protect the rug.
・Direct spraying of insecticides, disinfectants, hypochlorite, etc., may cause discoloration or hardening of the rug, so please refrain from doing so. Even when spraying on a cloth before use, always test on an inconspicuous area beforehand.

＜Changes in specifications and standards＞
Specifications and standards may be changed without notice due to quality improvements, etc. Please be aware of this in advance.
