About the Design

This beautiful rug features a quiet and smooth gradient, like sand. The soft tones spreading from the center are like the ever-changing face of sand dunes swaying in the wind. The gentle transition of colors from beige to black adds depth and calm to any space. Since the color movement is from the center outwards, placing it in the middle of a room makes the transition look most natural. The pattern will vary slightly with each weaving.

About this Color

MANAS rugs do not have color names and are managed by product number. 6575 transitions gently from silver gray to ivory. Of the two colors, this one has low contrast and can be laid like an extension of the floor. It is ideal when you don't want the pattern to stand out. Sable is available in two colors: 6575 and 9293. Please refer to the photos for the actual color.

How to Choose Size and Shape

The 160x230cm size is suitable for a living room of approximately 6 tatami mats, placed in front of a sofa with its front legs on the rug. If you have a 2- to 2.5-seater sofa, the shorter side of the rug will be almost aligned with the width of the sofa, creating a cohesive look. The 200x290cm size is for rooms of approximately 8 tatami mats, or when you want both the sofa and coffee table to fit within the rug. When using it in the dining room, ensure that the back legs of the chairs do not fall off when pulled out; as a guide, add 80cm to each side of the table width. In the bedroom, a good placement is to tuck the short side of the rug under the foot of the bed, with about one-third of the rug extending under the bed.

Material and Weave

The material is 100% polypropylene. The pile height is 11mm, a balanced height for both comfort and ease of maintenance, making it suitable for both living and dining rooms. It also has the advantage of being easier to vacuum compared to long-pile rugs. The weave is Wilton. This manufacturing method involves weaving pile threads into the base fabric. The pile weight is 3050g/㎡, with a 160x230cm rug weighing approximately 11.2kg. This is a standard density within this collection (2,650-3,300g/㎡). It is flame-retardant and can be used with floor heating and hot carpets. The country of origin is Belgium.

＜Delivery＞
Rugs are not eligible for free shipping. A shipping fee of 5,500 yen will be charged.
Products will be delivered with an instruction manual,ビニール-wrapped in a cylindrical shape. Approximate packing sizes are as follows: 133x195cm is approx. 15cm in diameter x 145cm in length; 160x230cm is approx. 20cm in diameter x 170cm in length; 200x290cm is approx. 30cm in diameter x 210cm in length (actual sizes may vary slightly).
Delivery will be by Sagawa Express宅配便. This is a curbside or doorstep delivery. Drivers will not carry items inside your home or install them.
As products are shipped directly from the manufacturer's warehouse, we cannot accept specific delivery dates or times.
Delivery to Okinawa Prefecture and some remote islands is not available.
Especially for the 200x290cm size, the package length exceeds 2m, so please check your搬入 route (elevator, stairs, entrance width) in advance.

＜Upon Delivery, Please Check Immediately＞
・Before use, please ensure that the product number, color number, and size are correct, and that there is no damage from transportation.
・Please unpack the product promptly after delivery. Do not store it in a sealed state.
・When unpacking, be careful not to damage the product with cutters or other sharp tools.
・Do not store upright or stacked. This may cause creases or deformation.

＜Returns and Exchanges＞
・We do not accept returns or exchanges due to customer's convenience.
・We also cannot accept returns or exchanges for products that have been used.
・If the delivered product is defective or damaged during transportation, please check the condition immediately after unpacking and contact us promptly (no later than 5 days after product arrival).
・Rugs are not manufactured by our company. After you contact us, we will check the condition, send the actual product to the manufacturer for inspection, and then discuss whether an exchange or return is possible. It becomes more difficult to determine if damage occurred during transportation as days pass, so please contact us as soon as possible.

＜Before Laying＞
・When laying a rug, please clean the floor surface beforehand.
・After waxing or wet-wiping the floor, please lay the rug only after the floor surface is completely dry. Insufficient drying may cause rug marks to remain on the flooring material.
・On slippery floor surfaces such as hardwood, we recommend using commercially available anti-slip sheets or similar products. Leaving the rug unfixed may cause it to slip and lead to falls.
・Using the rug while it has folds or wrinkles may cause tripping and lead to falls.

＜About Size and Color＞
・Due to the nature of the product, there may be an error of approximately ±3% in the finished dimensions.
・The color and texture of the actual product may differ from the published photos due to differences in computer or smartphone monitors viewed by the customer, and shooting conditions.
・The appearance and visibility of patterns vary with each weaving. The same pattern may not appear in the same position as shown in the published photos.

＜Things That Happen During Use＞
・Immediately after delivery, the rug may retain some curling. This will gradually subside and resolve after a few weeks of use.
・If heavy objects such as furniture are left on the rug for a long period, the pile may be crushed and flattened (crushing). This is more likely to occur when strong localized pressure is applied.
・Rugs using cut pile may show partial disruptions in the direction of the pile's nap during use, appearing as cloud-like color unevenness (clouding phenomenon). This is a characteristic of cut pile and not a defect in quality.

＜Care and Storage＞
・If a pile (fiber) protrudes, do not pull it forcibly. Carefully cut it from the base with scissors.
・When storing, roll it into a cylinder to prevent creases and wrinkles, lay it flat, and do not place heavy objects on top.

＜Precautions for Use＞
・Using the product in direct sunlight may accelerate surface fading and deterioration of the backing. Please take measures to block sunlight with curtains or blinds.
・Please note that using rubber covers etc. on furniture legs may react with rug components, causing discoloration or color transfer.
・Localized pressure, such as from table legs, may leave indentations. Rotating the rug occasionally will make them less noticeable.
・When moving heavy furniture with casters, such as a piano, over the rug, always lay plywood or thick paper to protect the rug before moving.
・Avoid direct spraying of insecticides, disinfectants, hypochlorous acid, etc., as this may cause discoloration or hardening of the rug. Even when spraying onto a cloth before use, always test on an inconspicuous area first.
