About the Design

This rug features a captivating design with an ephemeral, softly spreading appearance, much like bubbles. Its grayish tones, with large and small particles seemingly dancing across the surface, evoke the imagery of bubbles floating on water. The delicate gradations and subtle bleeding create depth in the space, fostering a quiet and sophisticated atmosphere. Because the particle sizes are not uniform, the design avoids a mechanical, repetitive look, with larger sizes revealing richer expressions. It is recommended not only for modern interiors but also as a piece that adds an artistic touch to simple spaces. The pattern will vary slightly with each weave.

About This Color

MANAS rugs do not have color names; they are managed by product numbers. 6575 is a pale combination of light gray and beige. It is the lighter of the two colors, making the bubble-like particles appear delicate. Mousse is available in two colors: 6233 and 6575. Please confirm the actual color in the photos.

How to Choose Size and Shape

A 160x230cm rug is suitable for a living room of approximately 6 tatami mats, placed in front of a sofa with its front legs resting on the rug. For a 2 to 2.5-seater sofa, the short side of the rug will align almost perfectly with the sofa's width, creating a cohesive look. A 200x290cm rug is suitable for an 8-tatami mat room, or for situations where you want both the sofa and coffee table to be within the rug's perimeter. When using it in a dining room, to ensure that the back legs of chairs do not fall off when pulled out, estimate the size by adding 80cm to each side of the table width. In a bedroom, a good layout is to tuck the short side of the rug under the foot of the bed, positioning about one-third of it beneath the bed.

Materials and Weave

The material is 100% polypropylene. The pile height is 11mm. This height offers a good balance between comfort underfoot and ease of handling, making it suitable for both living rooms and dining rooms. An advantage is that it is easier to vacuum compared to rugs with longer piles. The weave is Wilton, a method where pile threads are woven into the base fabric. The density is 3050g/㎡, with a 160x230cm rug weighing approximately 11.2kg. This is a standard density within this collection (2,650-3,300g/㎡). It is flame-retardant and can be used with underfloor heating and hot carpets. The country of origin is Belgium.

Rugs are not eligible for free shipping. A shipping fee of 5,500 yen will be charged.
Products are delivered with instruction manuals, vinyl-wrapped in a cylindrical shape. The approximate packaging sizes are: 133 x 195 cm is approx. 15 cm in diameter x approx. 145 cm in length; 160 x 230 cm is approx. 20 cm in diameter x approx. 170 cm in length; 200 x 290 cm is approx. 30 cm in diameter x approx. 210 cm in length (slight variations may occur depending on the product).
Delivery will be by Sagawa Express courier service. Delivery will be curbside or at the entrance. Drivers will not carry items inside or set them up.
Since products are shipped directly from the manufacturer's warehouse, we cannot accommodate specific delivery dates or times.
Deliveries to Okinawa Prefecture and some remote islands are not available.
Please note that for the 200 x 290 cm size, the package length exceeds 2 meters. Please check your搬入経路 (elevator, stairs, and entrance width) in advance.

<please check immediately after delivery>
・Before use, please ensure that the product number, color number, and size are correct, and that there is no damage during transportation.
・Please unpack the product promptly after delivery. Do not store it in a sealed condition.
・When unpacking, please be careful not to damage the product with cutters or other sharp objects.
・Do not store the product vertically or stack items on it, as this may cause creases or deformation.

<returns and exchanges>
・We do not accept returns or exchanges due to customer convenience.
・We cannot accept returns or exchanges for products after use.
・If the delivered product is defective or damaged during transportation, please check the condition immediately after unpacking and contact us promptly (no later than 5 days after product arrival).
・Rugs are not manufactured by our company. After receiving your contact, we will inspect the condition and send the actual product to the manufacturer for inspection. We will then discuss the possibility of exchange or return. It becomes more difficult to determine if damage occurred during transportation as more days pass, so please contact us as soon as possible.

<before laying>
・When laying a rug, please clean the floor surface beforehand.
・After waxing or wet-wiping the floor, please lay the rug only after the floor surface is completely dry. Insufficient drying may cause rug marks to remain on the flooring material.
・On slippery floor surfaces such as flooring, we recommend using a commercially available anti-slip sheet or similar product in conjunction. If simply placed, the rug may slip and cause a fall.
・Using the rug while it is folded or wrinkled may cause tripping accidents.

<about size and color>
・Due to the nature of the product, there may be an error of approximately ±3% in the finished dimensions.
・Due to differences in computer or smartphone monitors viewed by customers, and shooting conditions, the colors and textures of the actual product may differ from the posted photos.
・The pattern's appearance and visibility vary with each weave. The same pattern may not appear in the same position as in the posted photos.

<what happens with use>
・Immediately after delivery, some curling may remain. This will gradually subside and resolve with a few weeks of use.
・If heavy objects such as furniture are placed on the rug for a long period, the pile may be crushed and flattened (crushing). This tends to occur when localized strong pressure is applied.
・Rugs with cut pile may show partial irregularities in the direction of the pile's nap during use, appearing as cloud-like color unevenness (clouding phenomenon). This is a characteristic of cut pile and is not a defect in quality.

<care and storage>
・If pile (fibers) protrude, do not pull them out forcibly. Instead, carefully cut them at the base with scissors.
・When storing, roll the rug into a cylinder to prevent creases and wrinkles, lay it flat, and avoid placing heavy objects on top.

<precautions for use>
・Using the rug in direct sunlight may accelerate surface fading and deterioration of the backing. Please take measures to shade it with curtains or blinds.
・Please note that using rubber covers or similar items on furniture legs may react with rug components, causing discoloration or color transfer.
・Localized pressure, such as from table legs, may leave indentations. Rotating the rug occasionally will make them less noticeable.
・When moving pianos or heavy furniture with casters over the rug, always place plywood or thick cardboard underneath to protect the rug during movement.
・Direct spraying of insecticides, disinfectants, hypochlorites, etc., may cause discoloration or hardening of the rug, so please refrain from doing so. If you intend to spray it onto a cloth before use, always test it on an inconspicuous area first.
