About the Design

This impressive rug has a three-dimensional feel, expressing a marble-like design by mixing glossy yarns. Like stone patterns, there is no repetitive regularity, so it looks more natural the larger the area. The glossy yarn appears bright or subdued depending on the angle, preventing a flat impression. It pairs well with spaces using stone or tile and can be placed as an extension of the flooring. The pattern will vary with each weave.

About this Color

MANAS rugs do not have color names and are managed by product numbers. 6151 features blue veins on a white ground. It is the coolest of the three colors, ideal for spaces with cool tones. Liege is available in three colors: 6121, 6141, and 6151. Please check the actual colors in the photos.

How to Choose Size and Shape

The 160x230cm size is for a living room of about 6 tatami mats, placed in front of a sofa with its front legs on the rug. For a 2-2.5 seater sofa, the shorter side of the rug will be almost aligned with the sofa width, creating a cohesive look. The 200x290cm size is for about 8 tatami mats, or when you want to place both the sofa and low table within the rug. The 133x195cm size fits in places where you want to place only part of the furniture, such as beside a bed, in a study, or in the center of a studio apartment. When used in a dining room, as a guide, choose a size that adds 80cm to each side of the table width to prevent chair back legs from falling off when pulled out. In a bedroom, a good way to lay it is to tuck the short side of the rug under the foot of the bed, placing about one-third of it under the bed.

Material and Weave

The material is 85% polypropylene and 15% polyester. The pile height is 11mm. This height offers a good balance of comfort and ease of handling, making it suitable for both living and dining rooms. Another advantage is that it is easier to vacuum compared to long-pile rugs. The weave is Wilton. This is a manufacturing method where pile yarns are woven into the base fabric. The density is 2950g/㎡, with the 160x230cm size weighing approximately 10.9kg. This is a standard density within this collection (2,650-3,300g/㎡). It is flame-retardant and can be used over floor heating and hot carpets. The country of origin is Belgium.

＜About Delivery＞
Rugs are not eligible for free shipping. A shipping fee of 5,500 JPY will be charged.
Products will be delivered with an instruction manual and vinyl-wrapped in a cylindrical shape. As a guideline for packaging, a 133×195cm rug will be approximately 15cm in diameter and 145cm in length, a 160×230cm rug will be approximately 20cm in diameter and 170cm in length, and a 200×290cm rug will be approximately 30cm in diameter and 210cm in length (dimensions may vary slightly depending on the product).
Delivery is by Sagawa Express courier service. It will be a curbside delivery or delivery at the entrance. Drivers will not carry items into your room or set them up.
As products are shipped directly from the manufacturer's warehouse, we cannot accommodate specific delivery dates or times.
Delivery to Okinawa Prefecture and some remote islands is not available.
Especially for 200×290cm rugs, the package length exceeds 2m, so please check your搬入経路 (carrying route) in advance (elevator, stairs, entrance width).

＜Please check immediately after delivery＞
・Before use, please check the product number, color number, and size to ensure they are correct, and that there is no damage from transportation.
・Please unpackage the product promptly after delivery. Do not store it in a sealed condition.
・When opening the package, please be careful not to damage the product with cutters or other sharp tools.
・Do not store upright or stack. This may cause creases or deformation.

＜About Returns and Exchanges＞
・We do not accept returns or exchanges due to customer's convenience.
・We cannot accept returns or exchanges for used products.
・If the delivered product is defective or damaged during transportation, please check the condition immediately after unpacking and contact us promptly (no later than 5 days after product arrival).
・Rugs are not products manufactured by our company. After we receive your contact, we will check the condition and send the actual product to the manufacturer for inspection. We will then discuss whether an exchange or return is possible. The longer the time passes, the more difficult it becomes to determine if the damage was due to transportation, so please contact us as soon as possible.

＜Before Laying＞
・When laying a rug, please clean the floor surface beforehand.
・After waxing or wet-wiping the floor, please wait until the floor surface is completely dry before laying the rug. If drying is insufficient, rug marks may remain on the flooring material.
・On slippery floor surfaces such as flooring, we recommend using commercially available non-slip sheets. Without them, the rug may slip, causing falls.
・Using the rug in a creased or wrinkled state may cause tripping accidents.

＜About Size and Color＞
・Due to the nature of the product, there may be an error of approximately ±3% in the finished dimensions.
・The color and texture of the actual product may differ from the published photos due to differences in computer and smartphone monitors viewed by the customer, as well as shooting conditions.
・The appearance and arrangement of patterns vary with each weaving. The same pattern may not appear in the same position as in the published photos.

＜What Happens with Use＞
・Immediately after delivery, some curling may remain. It will gradually settle and disappear with a few weeks of use.
・If heavy objects such as furniture are left on the rug for a long period, the pile may be crushed and flattened (crushing). This tends to occur when localized heavy loads are applied.
・Rugs using cut pile may experience partial disturbance in the direction of the pile nap during use, appearing as cloud-like color unevenness (clouding phenomenon). This is a characteristic of cut pile and is not a quality defect.

＜Care and Storage＞
・If a pile (fiber) sticks out, do not pull it forcefully; carefully cut it from the base with scissors.
・When storing, roll the rug into a cylinder to prevent creases and wrinkles, lay it flat, and avoid placing heavy objects on top.

＜Precautions for Use＞
・Using the rug in direct sunlight may accelerate surface fading and deterioration of the backing. Please take measures to block sunlight with curtains or blinds.
・Please note that using rubber covers or similar items on furniture legs may react with rug components, causing discoloration or color transfer.
・Localized loads, such as from table legs, may leave indentations. Rotating the rug occasionally can make them less noticeable.
・When moving heavy furniture with casters or pianos on the rug, always place plywood or thick cardboard underneath to protect the rug.
・Avoid direct spraying of insecticides, disinfectants, hypochlorous acid, etc., as this may cause discoloration or hardening of the rug. If using by spraying on a cloth, always test on an inconspicuous area beforehand.
