About the Design

By mixing lustrous yarns, this impressive rug expresses a marble-like design with a three-dimensional feel. Like stone patterns, there is no repeating regularity, so the larger the area, the more natural it looks. The lustrous yarns appear bright or subdued depending on the angle of light, preventing a flat impression. It pairs well with spaces using stone or tiles, serving as an extension of the flooring. The pattern will vary with each weave.

About this color

MANAS rugs do not have color names and are managed by product number. 6121 features beige and gold veins on a white ground. It is the warmest of the three colors and resonates with brass and wood. As it has a marble-like pattern, it also complements stone or tiled floors. Liege is available in three colors: 6121, 6141, and 6151. Please check the actual colors in the photos.

How to choose size and shape

A 160x230cm rug is suitable for a living room of about 6 tatami mats, placed in front of a sofa with the front legs on the rug. For a 2- to 2.5-seater sofa, the short side of the rug will be almost the same width as the sofa, creating a cohesive look. A 200x290cm rug is suitable for rooms of about 8 tatami mats, or when you want to place both the sofa and low table within the rug. A 133x195cm rug fits in areas where you want to place only a part of the furniture, such as beside a bed, in a study, or in the center of a studio apartment. When used in a dining area, to prevent chair legs from falling off when pulled back, the size should be approximately the table width plus 80cm on each side. In a bedroom, a good placement is to tuck the short side of the rug under the foot of the bed, placing about one-third of it under the bed.

Material and Weave

The material is 85% polypropylene and 15% polyester. The pile height is 11mm. This height offers a good balance between comfort and ease of handling, making it suitable for both living and dining rooms. Another advantage is that it is easier to vacuum than long-pile rugs. The weave is Wilton weave, a method where pile yarns are woven into the base fabric. The pile weight is 2950g/㎡, with a 160x230cm rug weighing approximately 10.9kg. This is a standard density within this collection (2,650-3,300g/㎡). It is fire-retardant and can be used with underfloor heating and hot carpets. The country of origin is Belgium.

Delivery:
Rugs are not eligible for free shipping. A shipping fee of 5,500 yen will be charged.
The product will be delivered with the instruction manual included,ビニール wrapped in a cylindrical shape. Approximate packaging dimensions are: 133x195cm is approx. 15cm in diameter x 145cm in length; 160x230cm is approx. 20cm in diameter x 170cm in length; 200x290cm is approx. 30cm in diameter x 210cm in length (these may vary slightly depending on the product).
Delivery will be made by Sagawa Express courier service. Delivery will be to the doorstep/entrance. Drivers will not carry the product inside or install it.
As products are shipped directly from the manufacturer's warehouse, we cannot accommodate specific delivery dates or times.
We do not deliver to Okinawa Prefecture or some remote islands.
Especially for the 200x290cm size, the package length exceeds 2m, so please check your搬入経路 (e.g., elevator, stairs, doorway width) in advance.

Please check immediately after delivery:
・Before use, please check the product number, color number, and size to ensure there are no mistakes, and check for any damage during transit.
・Please unpack the product promptly after delivery. Do not store it in a sealed state.
・When unpacking, please be careful not to damage the product with sharp objects like cutters.
・Do not store vertically or stack. This may cause creases or deformation.

Returns and Exchanges:
・We do not accept returns or exchanges due to customer convenience.
・We also cannot accept returns or exchanges of products after they have been used.
・If there is a defect in the delivered product or damage during transit, please check the condition immediately after unpacking and contact us promptly (no later than 5 days after product arrival).
・Rugs are not products manufactured by our company. After you contact us, we will check the condition, send the actual product to the manufacturer for inspection, and then discuss whether an exchange or return is possible. It becomes more difficult to determine if damage occurred during transit as more time passes, so please contact us as soon as possible.

Before Laying:
・When laying the rug, please clean the floor surface beforehand.
・After waxing or wet-wiping the floor, please lay the rug only after the floor surface is completely dry. Insufficient drying may leave rug marks on the flooring material.
・On slippery floor surfaces like wood flooring, we recommend using commercially available non-slip sheets. Without them, the rug may slip and cause falls.
・Using the rug while it is folded or wrinkled may cause tripping accidents.

About Size and Color:
・Due to the nature of the product, there may be an error of approximately ±3% in the finished dimensions.
・The color and texture of the product in the actual photos may differ from the actual product due to differences in computer or smartphone monitors, or shooting conditions.
・The pattern and its appearance vary with each weave. The same pattern may not appear in the same position as in the published photos.

What Happens with Use:
・Immediately after delivery, a slight curl from being rolled may remain. This will gradually settle and disappear after a few weeks of use.
・If heavy objects like furniture are placed on the rug for a long period, the pile may be crushed and flattened (crushing). This is more likely to occur when strong localized pressure is applied.
・Rugs with cut piles may show a cloud-like unevenness in color due to the pile direction becoming partially disturbed during use (clouding phenomenon). This is a characteristic of cut piles and not a quality defect.

Care and Storage:
・If a pile (fiber) pops out, do not pull it forcefully. Carefully cut it from the base with scissors.
・When storing, to prevent creases and wrinkles, roll it into a cylinder, lay it flat, and do not place heavy objects on top.

Usage Precautions:
・Using the rug in direct sunlight may cause accelerated fading of the surface and deterioration of the backing. Please use curtains or blinds to provide sun protection.
・Please note that using rubber covers or similar items on furniture legs may react with the rug's components, potentially causing discoloration or color transfer.
・Localized pressure from table legs or other items may leave indentations (dents). Rotating the rug occasionally can make these less noticeable.
・When moving heavy furniture with casters or a piano on the rug, always place plywood or cardboard underneath and move it while the rug is protected.
・Refrain from directly spraying insecticides, disinfectants, or hypochlorous acid, as this may cause discoloration or hardening of the rug. If you use them after spraying on a cloth, always test on an inconspicuous area first.
