About the Design

The design, woven from bleeding colors and subtly blending tones, resembles a landscape emerging from mist or fog. The exquisite gradation of gray and beige softly integrates into any interior. The absence of a defined pattern outline is a practical advantage, allowing you to place the rug in any direction without concern. Even if part of the rug is hidden by furniture legs or wiring, the pattern appears uninterrupted. The appearance of the pattern varies with each weave.

About this Color

MANAS rugs do not have color names and are managed by product number. 6575 is a soft gradation of gray and beige. It is the lighter of the two colors, and its lack of outline prevents it from clashing with the lines of furniture. Flow is available in two colors: 3293 and 6575. Please refer to the photos for the actual color.

Choosing the Right Size and Shape

A 160x230cm rug is suitable for a living room of about 6 tatami mats, placed in front of a sofa so that its front legs rest on the rug. For a 2 to 2.5-seater sofa, the shorter side of the rug will be roughly aligned with the sofa's width, creating a cohesive look. A 200x290cm rug is for rooms of about 8 tatami mats, or when you want to place both the sofa and a low table within the rug's area. If using it in a dining room, ensure that the back legs of the chairs do not fall off when pulled out; a good guideline is to add 80cm to each side of the table's width. In a bedroom, the shorter side of the rug can be tucked under the foot of the bed, with about one-third of it extending under the bed.

Material and Weave

The material is 100% polypropylene. The pile height is 11mm, striking a balance between comfort and ease of maintenance, making it suitable for both living and dining areas. Another advantage is that it is easier to vacuum compared to long-pile rugs. The weave is Wilton. This manufacturing method involves weaving pile threads into the base fabric. The pile weight is 3050g/㎡, with a 160x230cm rug weighing approximately 11.2kg. This is a standard density within this collection (2,650-3,300g/㎡). It is flame-retardant and can be used with underfloor heating and hot carpets. The country of origin is Belgium.

<delivery>
Rugs are not eligible for free shipping. A shipping fee of 5,500 yen will be charged.
The product will be delivered with an instruction manual and individually wrapped in a cylindrical plastic package. The approximate packaging dimensions are: for 133×195cm, approximately 15cm in diameter and 145cm in length; for 160×230cm, approximately 20cm in diameter and 170cm in length; for 200×290cm, approximately 30cm in diameter and 210cm in length (dimensions may vary slightly depending on the product).
Delivery will be made by Sagawa Express courier service. Delivery will be to your doorstep/front entrance. Drivers will not carry items inside your home or perform installations.
Since products are shipped directly from the manufacturer's warehouse, we cannot accommodate specific delivery dates or times.
We do not deliver to Okinawa Prefecture or some remote islands.
Especially for the 200x290cm size, the package length exceeds 2m, so please check your搬入経路 (e.g., elevator, stairs, doorway clearance) in advance.

<upon delivery please check immediately>
・Before use, always check that the product number, color number, and size are correct, and that there is no damage from transportation.
・Please unpack promptly after delivery. Do not store in a sealed condition.
・When unpacking, be careful not to damage the product with cutters or other sharp tools.
・Do not store vertically or stack. This may cause creases or deformation.

<returns and exchanges>
・We do not accept returns or exchanges due to customer convenience.
・We also cannot accept returns or exchanges for products after use.
・If the delivered product is defective or damaged during transportation, please check the condition immediately after unpacking and contact us promptly (no later than 5 days after product arrival).
・Rugs are not manufactured by our company. After you contact us, we will check the condition and send the actual item to the manufacturer for inspection. We will then discuss whether an exchange or return is possible. It becomes more difficult to determine if damage occurred during transportation as more time passes, so please contact us as soon as possible.

<before laying>
・When laying a rug, please clean the floor surface in advance.
・After waxing or wet-wiping the floor, please lay the rug only after the floor surface is completely dry. Insufficient drying may cause rug marks to remain on the flooring material.
・On slippery floor surfaces such as hardwood, we recommend using commercially available non-slip sheets or similar products. Leaving the rug unfixed may cause it to slip and lead to falls.
・Using the rug in a creased or wrinkled state may cause tripping accidents.

<about size and color>
・Due to the nature of the product, there may be an error of approximately ±3% in the finished dimensions.
・The color and texture of the actual product may differ from the published photos due to differences in the computer or smartphone monitors you view, as well as shooting conditions.
・The appearance and arrangement of patterns may vary with each weave. The same pattern may not appear in the exact same position as in the published photos.

<what happens with use>
・Immediately after delivery, the rug may retain a curled shape from being rolled. This will gradually settle and disappear after a few weeks of use.
・If heavy objects such as furniture are placed on the rug for a long period, the pile may be crushed and flattened (crushing). This is more likely to occur when strong localized pressure is applied.
・Rugs with cut pile may show irregular patterns in the pile direction, appearing like cloudy color variations (clouding phenomenon) during use. This is a characteristic of cut pile and is not a defect in quality.

<care and storage>
・If a pile (fiber) protrudes, do not pull it forcefully. Carefully cut it from the base with scissors.
・When storing, roll it into a cylinder to prevent creases and wrinkles, lay it flat, and avoid placing heavy objects on top.

<precautions for use>
・Using the rug in direct sunlight may cause premature fading of the surface and deterioration of the backing. Please take measures to block sunlight with curtains or blinds.
・Please be aware that using rubber covers or similar items on furniture legs may react with the rug's components, causing discoloration or color transfer.
・Localized pressure, such as from table legs, may leave indentations (dents). Rotating the rug occasionally can make these less noticeable.
・When moving heavy furniture with casters, such as a piano, over the rug, always place plywood or thick cardboard underneath to protect the rug.
・Please refrain from directly spraying insecticides, disinfectants, hypochlorous acid, etc., as this may cause discoloration or hardening of the rug. Even when applying by spraying onto a cloth, always test on an inconspicuous area first.
