About the Design

The design, woven from bleeding colors and softly blending tones, evokes a landscape floating in mist or fog. The exquisite gradation based on gray and beige gently integrates into any interior. A practical advantage is that the rug can be laid down without concern for its orientation, as the pattern has no distinct contours. Even if part of the rug is hidden by furniture legs or wiring, the pattern does not appear interrupted. The pattern's appearance will vary with each weave.

About This Color

MANAS rugs do not have color names and are managed by product numbers. 3293 is a rich, intensely colored combination of rust and charcoal. Of the two colors, this one is more dominant, making it feel more like a piece of art than just a floor covering. Flow is available in two colors: 3293 and 6575. Please confirm the actual colors in the photos.

How to Choose Size and Shape

The 160×230cm size is suitable for placing in front of a sofa in a living room of about 6 tatami mats, allowing the front legs of the sofa to rest on it. For a 2 to 2.5-seater sofa, the shorter side of the rug will be almost aligned with the sofa's width, creating a cohesive look. The 200×290cm size is for rooms of about 8 tatami mats, or when you want to place both the sofa and a low table within the rug's area. When used in a dining room, as a guide, choose a size that adds 80cm to each side of the table width to prevent chair back legs from falling off when pulled out. In a bedroom, the rug can be placed by tucking the shorter side under the foot of the bed, with about one-third of it underneath the bed.

Materials and Weave

Made from 100% polypropylene, with a pile height of 11mm. This height offers a balanced feel underfoot and ease of handling, making it suitable for both living rooms and dining rooms. Another advantage is that it is easier to vacuum compared to rugs with longer piles. It is Wilton woven, a method where pile threads are woven into the base fabric. The pile density is 3050g/㎡, with a 160×230cm rug weighing approximately 11.2kg. This is a standard density within this collection (2,650〜3,300g/㎡). It is flame-retardant and can be used with floor heating and hot carpets. The country of origin is Belgium.

＜About Delivery＞
Rugs are not eligible for free shipping. A shipping fee of 5,500 JPY will be charged.
Products will be delivered with an instruction manual, rolled and plastic-wrapped. The approximate packaging sizes are: 133×195cm will be approximately 15cm in diameter x 145cm in length; 160×230cm will be approximately 20cm in diameter x 170cm in length; 200×290cm will be approximately 30cm in diameter x 210cm in length (actual dimensions may vary slightly by product).
Delivery will be by Sagawa Express courier service. Delivery will be to the entrance of your home or premises. Drivers will not carry items inside or set them up.
As products are shipped directly from the manufacturer's warehouse, we cannot accommodate specific delivery dates or times.
We do not deliver to Okinawa Prefecture or some remote islands.
For the 200×290cm size in particular, the package length exceeds 2 meters, so please check your搬入経路 (e.g., elevator, stairs, doorway width) in advance.

＜Please check immediately after delivery＞
・Before use, please ensure that the product number, color number, and size are correct, and that there is no damage from transportation.
・Please unpack the product promptly after delivery. Do not store it in a sealed condition.
・When unpacking, please be careful not to damage the product with cutters or other sharp objects.
・Do not store the rug vertically or stack items on it, as this may cause creases or deformation.

＜About Returns and Exchanges＞
・We do not accept returns or exchanges due to customer convenience.
・We cannot accept returns or exchanges for products after they have been used.
・If the delivered product is defective or damaged during transit, please check its condition immediately after unpacking and contact us promptly (no later than 5 days after product arrival).
・Rugs are not manufactured by our company. After you contact us, we will confirm the condition, send the actual product to the manufacturer for inspection, and then discuss whether an exchange or return is possible. The longer the time that passes, the more difficult it becomes to determine if the damage occurred during transit, so please contact us as soon as possible.

＜Before Laying＞
・When laying the rug, please clean the floor surface beforehand.
・After waxing or wet-wiping the floor, please ensure the floor surface is completely dry before laying the rug. If drying is insufficient, rug marks may be left on the flooring material.
・On slippery floor surfaces such as hardwood, we recommend using commercially available anti-slip sheets. The rug may slip and cause falls if simply laid without protection.
・Using the rug in a creased or wrinkled state can cause tripping accidents.

＜About Size and Color＞
・Due to the nature of the product, there may be an error of approximately ±3% in the finished dimensions.
・The color and texture of the actual product may differ from the published photos due to differences in computer or smartphone monitors viewed by the customer, as well as shooting conditions.
・The pattern appearance and positioning may vary with each weave. The same pattern may not appear in the same position as in the published photos.

＜What Happens with Use＞
・Immediately after delivery, the rug may retain its rolled shape. It will gradually flatten out and resolve itself with a few weeks of use.
・If heavy items such as furniture are placed on the rug for a long period, the pile may be crushed and flattened (crushing). This is more likely to occur when strong localized pressure is applied.
・Rugs using cut pile may show partial disorder in the pile direction during use, appearing as cloud-like color unevenness (clouding phenomenon). This is a characteristic of cut pile and not a defect in quality.

＜Care and Storage＞
・If a pile (fiber) sticks out, do not pull it out forcefully. Carefully cut it from the base with scissors.
・When storing, roll the rug into a cylindrical shape to prevent creases and wrinkles, lay it flat, and avoid placing heavy objects on top.

＜Precautions for Use＞
・Using the rug in direct sunlight may accelerate surface fading and deterioration of the backing. Please take measures to block sunlight with curtains or blinds.
・Please note that using rubber covers on furniture legs may react with rug components and cause discoloration or color transfer.
・Localized pressure from table legs, etc., may leave indentations. Rotating the rug occasionally can make these less noticeable.
・When moving heavy furniture with casters or pianos over the rug, always place plywood or thick cardboard underneath to protect the rug.
・Avoid direct spraying of insecticides, disinfectants, hypochlorous acid, etc., as this may cause discoloration or hardening of the rug. Even when spraying onto a cloth before use, always test on an inconspicuous area beforehand.
