About the Design

This abstract watercolor-style design is expressed in contemporary colors. It features the characteristic edgeless bleeding of paint as it spreads on paper. Because the boundaries between colors are blurred, it appears as a single solid color from a distance, but closer inspection reveals multiple overlapping colors. This is one of the most colorful patterns in the collection, suitable for adding a splash of color to a room decorated in achromatic tones. The pattern appearance will vary with each weave.

About This Color

MANAS rugs do not have color names and are managed by product numbers. 6484 is the brightest of the three color schemes, composed only of light gray and ivory. The watercolor bleed is subtle, making it appear almost solid from a distance. It's ideal for when you want to add a pattern without adding color. Ville is available in three colors: 2535, 6484, and 7777. Please refer to the photos for the actual colors.

How to Choose Size and Shape

The 160x230cm size is suitable for living rooms of about 6 tatami mats, placed in front of a sofa with its front legs on the rug. For a 2 to 2.5-seater sofa, the short side of the rug will be almost aligned with the sofa's width, creating a cohesive look. The 200x290cm size is for rooms of about 8 tatami mats, or when you want to place both the sofa and coffee table entirely on the rug. The 133x195cm size fits in areas where you want to place only a part of the furniture, such as beside a bed, in a study, or in the center of a studio apartment. For dining areas, to prevent chair legs from falling off when pulled out, estimate a size by adding 80cm to each side of the table width. In bedrooms, a good placement is to tuck the short side of the rug under the foot of the bed, positioning about one-third of it underneath.

Material and Weave

The material is 55% polyester and 45% polypropylene. The pile height is 11mm. This height offers a good balance of comfort underfoot and ease of handling, making it suitable for both living and dining rooms. An advantage is that it is easier to vacuum compared to high-pile rugs. The weave is Wilton. This method involves weaving pile yarns into the base fabric. The density is 3150g/㎡, with a 160x230cm rug weighing approximately 11.6kg. This is a standard density within this collection (2,650-3,300g/㎡). It is flame-retardant and can be used with floor heating and hot carpets. The country of origin is Belgium.

＜Delivery＞
Rugs are not eligible for free shipping. A shipping fee of 5,500 yen will be charged.
Products will be delivered with an instruction manual, rolled and shrink-wrapped in plastic. The approximate package dimensions are: 133 x 195cm will be approx. 15cm in diameter x 145cm in length; 160 x 230cm will be approx. 20cm in diameter x 170cm in length; 200 x 290cm will be approx. 30cm in diameter x 210cm in length (actual dimensions may vary slightly by product).
Delivery will be made by Sagawa Express courier service. Delivery will be to the curb or entrance. Drivers will not carry items inside your home or set them up.
As products are shipped directly from the manufacturer's warehouse, we cannot accommodate specific delivery dates or times.
We do not deliver to Okinawa Prefecture or some remote islands.
The 200 x 290cm size, in particular, will have packaging exceeding 2m in length, so please check your搬入経路 (elevator, stairs, entrance width) in advance.

＜Please check immediately upon delivery＞
・Before use, please ensure that the product number, color number, and size are correct, and that there is no damage from transportation.
・Please unbox the product promptly after delivery. Do not store it in a sealed state.
・When unboxing, please be careful not to damage the product with cutters or other sharp tools.
・Do not store upright or stack. This may cause creases or deformation.

＜Returns and Exchanges＞
・We do not accept returns or exchanges due to customer convenience.
・We cannot accept returns or exchanges for products after they have been used.
・If the delivered product is defective or damaged during transport, please check the condition immediately after unboxing and contact us promptly (no later than 5 days after product arrival).
・Rugs are not manufactured by our company. After you contact us, we will confirm the condition, send the actual product to the manufacturer for inspection, and then discuss whether an exchange or return is possible. The longer the time passes, the more difficult it becomes to determine if the damage occurred during transportation, so please contact us as soon as possible.

＜Before laying＞
・When laying a rug, please clean the floor surface beforehand.
・After waxing or wet-wiping the floor, please ensure the floor surface is completely dry before laying the rug. Insufficient drying may cause rug marks to remain on the flooring material.
・For slippery floor surfaces such as flooring, we recommend using commercially available non-slip sheets or similar products together with the rug. Leaving the rug simply laid down may cause it to slip and cause falls.
・Using the rug while it is creased or wrinkled may cause tripping hazards and falls.

＜About Size and Color＞
・Due to the nature of the product, there may be an error of approximately ±3% in the finished dimensions.
・The color and texture of the actual product may differ from the published photos due to differences in computer or smartphone monitors viewed by the customer, as well as shooting conditions.
・The appearance and placement of patterns may vary with each weave. The same pattern may not appear in the same position as in the published photos.

＜What Happens with Use＞
・Immediately after delivery, the rug may retain a curl from being rolled. This will gradually settle and disappear within a few weeks of use.
・If heavy items such as furniture are placed on the rug for an extended period, the pile may be crushed and flattened (crushing). This is more likely to occur when strong localized pressure is applied.
・Rugs using cut pile may develop areas where the pile direction becomes uneven during use, appearing as cloud-like color variations (clouding phenomenon). This is a characteristic of cut pile and is not a defect in quality.

＜Care and Storage＞
・If a pile (fiber) protrudes, do not pull it out forcefully; carefully cut it at the base with scissors.
・When storing, roll the rug into a cylinder to prevent creases and wrinkles, lay it flat, and do not place heavy objects on top of it.

＜Notes on Use＞
・Using the rug in direct sunlight may accelerate surface fading and deterioration of the backing. Please take measures to block sunlight with curtains or blinds.
・Please note that using rubber covers on furniture legs may react with rug components, causing discoloration or color transfer.
・Localized pressure from table legs, etc., may leave indentations. Rotating the rug occasionally will make these less noticeable.
・When moving heavy furniture with casters or pianos over the rug, always place plywood or thick cardboard underneath to protect the rug.
・Direct spraying of insecticides, disinfectants, hypochlorous acid, etc., may cause discoloration or hardening of the rug, so please refrain from doing so. Even when spraying onto a cloth before use, always test on an inconspicuous area first.
