About the Design

This rug features a soft, rich gradient that makes a strong impression. The colors transition naturally from dark to light tones, like light filtering through a morning mist. Simple yet striking, this design complements a wide range of styles. It's a trendy gradient design that subtly enhances your space and creates a sophisticated atmosphere. If you place the darker side towards the wall and the lighter side towards the center of the room, the floor will appear to extend further. The pattern may vary slightly with each weave.

About this Color

MANAS rugs do not have color names; they are managed by product number. 7322 is a warm-toned gradient transitioning from dark taupe to beige. It is the warmest of the three colors and naturally complements oak or walnut flooring. Orb is available in three colors: 5332, 6747, and 7322. Please confirm the actual color in the photos.

How to Choose Size and Shape

A 160x230cm rug is suitable for a living room of about 6 tatami mats, placed in front of a sofa so that the front legs rest on it. For a 2-2.5 seater sofa, the short side of the rug will be almost flush with the width of the sofa, creating a cohesive look. A 200x290cm rug is suitable for about 8 tatami mats, or when you want to place both the sofa and a low table within the rug. When using it in a dining room, as a guide, add 80cm to each side of the table width to ensure the back legs of the chairs do not fall off when pulled out. In a bedroom, the short side of the rug can be tucked under the foot of the bed, with about one-third of it placed under the bed.

Material and Weave

The material is 100% polypropylene. The pile height is 25mm. It is thick and comfortable enough to sit directly on the floor. It is more suitable for relaxing areas like in front of a sofa or by the bedside, rather than areas where dining chairs are frequently moved. When vacuuming, use a low suction setting. The weave is Wilton. This is a manufacturing method where pile yarns are woven into the base fabric. The weight per square meter is 3200g/㎡, and a 160x230cm rug weighs approximately 11.8kg. Among this collection (2,650-3,300g/㎡), it is considered high-density, offering a noticeable springiness when stepped on. It is flame-retardant and can be used with floor heating and hot carpets. The country of origin is Belgium.

＜Delivery＞
Rugs are not eligible for free shipping. A shipping fee of ¥5,500 will be charged.
Products will be delivered with an instruction manual, packed in plastic in a cylindrical shape. Approximate packing sizes are as follows: 133×195cm is approximately 15cm in diameter and 145cm in length; 160×230cm is approximately 20cm in diameter and 170cm in length; 200×290cm is approximately 30cm in diameter and 210cm in length (actual sizes may vary slightly by product).
Delivery will be made by Sagawa Express courier service. Delivery will be to the entrance of your home. Drivers will not carry items inside or perform installation.
We are unable to specify delivery dates and times as products are shipped directly from the manufacturer's warehouse.
Delivery to Okinawa Prefecture and some remote islands is not available.
Especially for the 200x290cm size, the package length exceeds 2m, so please check your搬入経路 (e.g., elevator, stairs, entrance opening) in advance.

＜Please check immediately after delivery＞
・Before use, please ensure that the product number, color number, and size are correct, and that there is no damage during transit.
・Please unpack promptly after delivery. Do not store in a sealed condition.
・When unpacking, please be careful not to damage the product with cutters or other sharp objects.
・Do not store vertically or stack. This may cause creases or deformation.

＜Returns and Exchanges＞
・We do not accept returns or exchanges due to customer's convenience.
・We also cannot accept returns or exchanges of products after use.
・If the delivered product is defective or damaged during transit, please check the condition immediately after unpacking and contact us promptly (at the latest within 5 days of product arrival).
・Rugs are not products manufactured by our company. After you contact us, we will check the condition, send the actual product to the manufacturer for inspection, and then discuss whether an exchange or return is possible. The longer the time passes, the more difficult it becomes to determine if the damage occurred during transit, so please contact us as soon as possible.

＜Before Laying＞
・When laying the rug, please clean the floor surface beforehand.
・After waxing or wet cleaning the floor, please lay the rug only after the floor surface is completely dry. Insufficient drying may cause rug marks to remain on the flooring material.
・On slippery floor surfaces such as flooring, we recommend using commercially available anti-slip sheets or similar products. Leaving the rug simply placed may cause it to slip and lead to falls.
・Using the rug in a creased or wrinkled state may cause tripping accidents.

＜About Size and Color＞
・Due to the nature of the product, there may be an error of approximately ±3% in the finished dimensions.
・The color and texture of the actual product may differ from the published photos due to differences in computer or smartphone monitors viewed by the customer, and also due to shooting conditions.
・The pattern appearance and impression vary with each weave. The same pattern may not appear in the same position as in the published photos.

＜What Happens with Use＞
・Immediately after delivery, a slight curl from rolling may remain. This will gradually subside and disappear with use over several weeks.
・If heavy objects such as furniture are left on the rug for a long period, the pile may be crushed and flattened (crushing). This tends to occur when localized heavy loads are applied.
・Rugs with cut pile may show partial disruption in the direction of the pile nap during use, appearing as cloud-like color unevenness (clouding phenomenon). This is a characteristic of cut pile and is not a quality defect.

＜Care and Storage＞
・If a pile (fiber) protrudes, do not pull it out forcefully; carefully cut it at the base with scissors.
・When storing, roll the rug into a cylinder to prevent creases and wrinkles, lay it flat, and do not place heavy objects on top of it.

＜Precautions for Use＞
・Using the rug in direct sunlight may accelerate surface fading and deterioration of the backing. Please take measures to block sunlight with curtains or blinds.
・Please be aware that using rubber covers or similar items on furniture legs may cause discoloration or color transfer due to reaction with rug components.
・Local loads, such as from table legs, may leave indentations. Rotating the rug occasionally can make them less noticeable.
・When moving heavy furniture with casters or pianos on the rug, always place plywood or thick cardboard underneath to protect the rug during movement.
・Avoid direct spraying of insecticides, disinfectants, hypochlorous acid, etc., as this may cause discoloration or hardening of the rug. Even when spraying onto a cloth before use, always test on an inconspicuous area first.
