About the Design

This rug features a striking soft, deep gradient. The colors transition naturally from dark to light tones, like light filtering through a morning mist. Simple yet impactful, this design complements a wide range of styles. It's a trendy gradient design that subtly enhances any space, creating a sophisticated atmosphere. If you place the darker side towards the wall and the lighter side towards the center of the room, the floor will appear to extend further back. The pattern will vary slightly with each weave.

About This Color

MANAS rugs do not have color names and are managed by product number. 6747 transitions from deep green to sage green. It is the only one of the three colors that has a distinct hue, and it harmonizes well with wood and leather furniture. It's an excellent choice when you want to incorporate a large area of green. Orb is available in three colors: 5332, 6747, and 7322. Please refer to the photos for the actual colors.

Choosing the Right Size and Shape

A 160x230cm rug is suitable for a living room of about 6 tatami mats, placed in front of a sofa with the front legs on the rug. For a 2- to 2.5-seater sofa, the short side of the rug will be almost flush with the sofa's width, creating a cohesive look. A 200x290cm rug is suitable for a room of about 8 tatami mats, or if you want to place both the sofa and a low table within the rug. If using it in a dining area, to prevent chair legs from falling off when pulled back, estimate the size by adding 80cm to each side of the table width. In a bedroom, you can tuck the short side of the rug under the foot of the bed, with about a third of the rug under the bed.

Material and Weave

The material is 100% polypropylene. The pile height is 25mm. It is thick and comfortable enough to sit directly on the floor. It is more suited for areas where you relax, like in front of a sofa or by a bedside, rather than areas where dining chairs are frequently moved. When vacuuming, please use a low suction setting. The weave is Wilton. This manufacturing method weaves pile yarns into the base fabric. The pile weight is 3200g/㎡, and a 160x230cm rug weighs approximately 11.8kg. Among this collection (2,650-3,300g/㎡), it is considered high-density, providing a noticeable springiness when stepped on. It is flame-retardant and can be used with underfloor heating and hot carpets. The country of origin is Belgium.

＜About Delivery＞
Rugs are not eligible for free shipping. A shipping fee of 5,500 yen will be charged.
Products will be delivered with an instruction manual,ビニール-wrapped in a cylindrical shape. The approximate packaging sizes are: 133×195cm is approximately 15cm in diameter and 145cm in length; 160×230cm is approximately 20cm in diameter and 170cm in length; and 200×290cm is approximately 30cm in diameter and 210cm in length (actual sizes may vary slightly by product).
Delivery will be by Sagawa Express courier service. This is a curbside delivery service, where the product will be handed over at your entrance. Drivers will not carry the product inside your home or install it.
As products are shipped directly from the manufacturer's warehouse, we cannot accommodate specific delivery dates or times.
We do not deliver to Okinawa Prefecture or some remote islands.
Especially for the 200×290cm size, the package length exceeds 2m, so please check your搬入経路 (e.g., elevator, stairs, entrance doorway) in advance.

＜Upon Delivery, Please Check Immediately＞
・Before use, please check that the product number, color number, and size are correct, and that there is no damage from transportation.
・Please unpack the product promptly after delivery. Do not store it in a sealed condition.
・When unpacking, be careful not to damage the product with cutters or other sharp tools.
・Do not store vertically or stack. This may cause creases or deformation.

＜About Returns and Exchanges＞
・We do not accept returns or exchanges due to customer convenience.
・We cannot accept returns or exchanges for products that have been used.
・If the delivered product is defective or damaged during transportation, please check its condition immediately after unpacking and contact us promptly (no later than 5 days after product arrival).
・The rug is not a product manufactured by our company. After you contact us, we will check the condition, send the actual product to the manufacturer for inspection, and then discuss whether an exchange or return is possible. The longer the time passes, the more difficult it becomes to determine if the damage was due to transportation, so please contact us as soon as possible.

＜Before Laying＞
・When laying a rug, please clean the floor surface beforehand.
・After waxing or wet-wiping the floor, please lay the rug only after the floor surface is completely dry. Insufficient drying may cause the rug's marks to remain on the flooring material.
・On slippery floor surfaces such as hardwood, we recommend using a commercially available anti-slip sheet or similar product. If left unsecured, the rug may slide, causing a fall.
・Using the rug while it is creased or wrinkled may cause tripping accidents.

＜About Size and Color＞
・Due to the nature of the product, there may be an error of approximately ±3% in the finished dimensions.
・The color and texture of the product in the photos may differ from the actual product due to differences in computer or smartphone monitors viewed by the customer, as well as shooting conditions.
・The appearance and visibility of the pattern vary with each weaving. The same pattern may not appear in the same position as in the published photos.

＜What Happens During Use＞
・Immediately after delivery, the rug may retain some curling. This will gradually settle and disappear with a few weeks of use.
・If heavy objects such as furniture are placed on the rug for a long period, the pile may be crushed and flattened (crushing). This is more likely to occur when strong localized pressure is applied.
・Rugs with cut piles may experience partial disarray in the direction of the pile during use, appearing as cloud-like color unevenness (clouding phenomenon). This is a characteristic of cut pile and is not a quality defect.

＜Care and Storage＞
・If the pile (fiber) protrudes, do not forcibly pull it out. Instead, carefully cut it from the base with scissors.
・When storing, to prevent creases and wrinkles, roll the rug into a cylinder, lay it flat, and avoid placing heavy objects on top of it.

＜Usage Precautions＞
・Using the rug in direct sunlight may accelerate fading of the surface and deterioration of the backing. Please take measures to block sunlight with curtains or blinds.
・Please note that using rubber covers on furniture legs may react with the rug's components, causing discoloration or color transfer.
・Localized pressure, such as from table legs, may leave indentations. Rotating the rug occasionally can make them less noticeable.
・When moving heavy furniture with casters, such as pianos, over the rug, always place plywood or thick cardboard underneath to protect the rug.
・Avoid direct spraying of insecticides, disinfectants, hypochlorous acid, etc., as this may cause discoloration or hardening of the rug. Even when spraying onto a cloth before use, always test on an inconspicuous area first.
