About Delivery
Rugs are not eligible for free shipping. A shipping fee of 5,500 yen will be charged.
Products will be delivered with an instruction manual, packed in a cylindrical plastic wrap. The approximate packaging dimensions are: 133×195cm is approximately 15cm in diameter and 145cm in length; 160×230cm is approximately 20cm in diameter and 170cm in length; 200×290cm is approximately 30cm in diameter and 210cm in length (these dimensions may vary slightly depending on the product).
Delivery will be made by Sagawa Express courier service. Delivery will be to the doorstep/entrance. Drivers will not carry items into the room or install them.
As products are shipped directly from the manufacturer's warehouse, we cannot accept requests for specific delivery dates or times.
Delivery to Okinawa Prefecture and some remote islands is not available.
Particularly for the 200×290cm size, the package length exceeds 2m, so please check the搬入経路 (e.g., elevator, stairs, doorway width) in advance.
Please check immediately after delivery.
Before use, please check that the product number, color number, and size are correct, and that there is no damage from transportation.
Please unpack promptly after delivery. Do not store in a sealed condition.
When unpacking, be careful not to damage the product with cutters or other sharp objects.
Do not store vertically or stack. This may cause creases or deformation.
About Returns and Exchanges
We do not accept returns or exchanges due to customer convenience.
We also cannot accept returns or exchanges for products that have been used.
If there is a defect in the delivered product or damage during transportation, please check the condition immediately after unpacking and contact us promptly (no later than 5 days after product arrival).
Rugs are not products manufactured by our company. After you contact us, we will check the condition, send the actual product to the manufacturer for inspection, and then discuss whether an exchange or return is possible. The longer the time passes, the more difficult it becomes to determine if the damage occurred during transportation, so please contact us as soon as possible.
Before Laying
When laying a rug, please clean the floor surface beforehand.
After waxing or wet wiping the floor, please lay the rug only after the floor surface is completely dry. If drying is insufficient, rug marks may remain on the flooring material.
On slippery floor surfaces such as flooring, we recommend using a commercially available non-slip sheet or similar product. If the rug is simply laid, it may slip and cause a fall.
Using the rug in a state with creases or wrinkles may cause tripping accidents.
About Size and Color
Due to the nature of the product, there may be an error of approximately ±3% in the finished dimensions.
Due to differences in the monitors of computers and smartphones viewed by customers, and also due to shooting conditions, the color and texture of the product may differ from the published photos.
The appearance and arrangement of patterns vary with each weaving. The same pattern may not appear in the same position as in the published photos.
What Happens with Use
Immediately after delivery, there may be some curling. This will gradually settle and disappear after a few weeks of use.
If heavy objects such as furniture are left on the rug for a long period, the pile may be crushed and flattened (crushing). This tends to occur when localized heavy loads are applied.
Rugs with cut pile may show partial irregularities in the direction of the pile nap during use, appearing like cloudy color unevenness (clouding phenomenon). This is a characteristic property of cut pile and is not a quality defect.
Care and Storage
If a pile (fiber) sticks out, do not pull it out forcibly. Carefully cut it from the base with scissors.
When storing, roll the rug into a cylinder to prevent creases and wrinkles, lay it flat, and do not place heavy objects on top of it.
Precautions for Use
Using the product in direct sunlight may accelerate surface fading and deterioration of the backing. Please take measures to block sunlight with curtains or blinds.
Please note that using rubber covers or similar items on furniture legs may react with the rug's components and cause discoloration or color transfer.
Local pressure from table legs or similar objects may leave indentations. Rotating the rug occasionally will make these less noticeable.
When moving heavy furniture with casters or pianos over the rug, always place plywood or thick paper underneath to protect the rug.
Direct spraying of insecticides, disinfectants, hypochlorous acid, etc., may cause discoloration or hardening of the rug, so please refrain from doing so. Even when spraying onto a cloth before use, always test on an inconspicuous area first.
