A straight frame with a gently curved seat and backrest. Though small, it is stable and offers a relaxed seating experience. It combines elements of three cultures: Finland's chair-making tradition, America's simple Shaker style, and traditional Japanese techniques.

As its name suggests, designer Wesley Walters designed it as his doctoral thesis while studying at Aalto University in Helsinki. Wesley also has a background in studying at a Japanese art university.
