The Lintunen - Lintunen Heini Riitahuhta Design Linen Cushion Cover Pink 45x45cm
Heini Riitahuhta's "Lintunen" design and 100% natural linen combine to create a cute and stylish Nordic cushion cover (Pink / 45 x 45cm) for adults.
This special cushion cover is a collaboration between Heini Riitahuhta, a ceramic designer representing Nordic Finland, and House of Japan.
Product Features
Heini, whose captivating work is characterized by rich colors and bold yet delicate expressions, created designs inspired by nature, such as birds, butterflies, and flowers, with the wish for Finland and Japan to become closer. These designs were then meticulously printed and dyed in Kyoto on 100% Japanese linen fabric.
The thick linen fabric is durable, wrinkle-resistant even after washing, and gains a richer texture with use. The rustic appearance of natural linen combined with Heini's warm design brings Nordic comfort to any space.
Recommended for these scenes
Perfect as an accent in a Nordic-style or natural modern living room or bedroom. Simply placing it on a sofa or bed will gently brighten the space. It is also recommended as a gift for those who love natural materials or Nordic design.
About Lintunen
Lintunen is a term of endearment for birds. While "Lintu" means bird in Finnish, adding "-nen" makes it something like "little bird" or "birdy" in Japanese.
"For me, birds are also a great symbol of freedom, able to go anywhere. This motif features a dreaming bird in a garden full of the scent of flowers. In these times, I believe we need positive and happy dreams to continue living with hope. Birds are one of my main motifs, combined with a floral frame representing a garden. They connect to the roots of all the designs I have created so far," says Heini. Designing interior textiles was also a dream of hers.
This work embodies the wish for dreams and hopes to take flight and be carried to everyone.

【Care Instructions】
● About Neps
Neps are knots in the yarn formed by intertwined linen fibers that appear on the surface.
If neps are prominent, you can push them to the back of the fabric with a pointed object to make them less noticeable.
As shown in the product photos, the ink color may be partially missing due to neps.
There may be slight variations in the appearance of neps and fibers, but please enjoy them as part of the rustic charm of linen fabric.
Fabric with such conditions is considered normal and a good quality product, and returns or exchanges will not be accepted, so please be aware.
● When washing, please use a net with a neutral detergent or wash gently by hand.
● Please wash separately from other items as color fading may occur.
● Do not leave after washing; immediately reshape and hang to dry.
● Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight may cause discoloration.
● Avoid tumble drying and using bleach.
● When ironing, avoid high temperatures and use a pressing cloth.
● For light stains, gently rub with a white eraser or firmly wring out a towel dampened with neutral detergent and water, then pat the stained area. (Please remove the inner cushion at this time.)
● If left wet from rain, snow, or sweat, color transfer may occur. If wet, please remove the inner cushion (to reduce fabric overlap) and dry in the shade.
● To minimize color fading and stains, we recommend lightly spraying with a fabric waterproof spray before use.
● The printed areas may transfer color or fade due to friction, especially when wet.
● This product may have yarn joints or slight fraying from the weaving process by machine, but this is not a quality issue.
● Avoid long-term storage in high-humidity areas, as this may cause mold.
※ When washing, please follow the laundry care symbols on each product tag.
※ Please use a laundry net when washing.
