- Christian Lacroix -
Christian Lacroix was born in Provence, France, in 1951. His designs are heavily influenced by the Provencal culture of southern France and Gypsy culture. After serving as a designer for Hermes, he launched his own brand, "Christian Lacroix," and presented an haute couture collection. This collection won the Dé d'Or award, considered the highest honor in the haute couture world. He then served as director for Emilio Pucci and also designed uniforms for Air France. Currently, Sacha Walckhoff, who was called Lacroix's right-hand man, serves as the brand's designer, actively producing interior items among others. This led to the creation of the Christian Lacroix collection, one of the Designer Guild's collections.
