Product Features
Heini, known for her vibrant, bold, yet delicate expressions, created this design with motifs of birds, butterflies, and plants, hoping to foster a closer relationship between Finland and Japan. The thick linen fabric is durable and resistant to wrinkles even after washing, and it gains character with use. The rustic texture unique to natural linen and the bold Nordic color palette add a natural and warm touch to any space.
"Päiväperho" is an abbreviation combining "päivä" (day) and "perho(nen)" (butterfly), a familiar nickname for butterflies. Heini says, "I love playing with flowers and butterflies in nature. Butterflies symbolize living in the present moment and remind us of the importance of appreciating small moments in life (perhaps like cherry blossoms in Japan). Butterfly motifs have been one of my main themes for many years." Designing interior textiles was also her dream. This work embodies her wish for dreams and hopes to take flight and be delivered to everyone.

※As this product uses natural materials, there are some points to note regarding quality. Please read the "Care Instructions" below for details.
【Care Instructions】
●About Slubs
Slubs are knots in the yarn formed by tangled linen fibers that appear on the surface.
If a slub is prominent, you can push it to the back of the fabric with a pointed object to make it less noticeable.
As shown in the product photos, ink color may be partially missing due to slubs.
While there may be some variation in slubs and fiber appearance, please enjoy this as part of the rustic charm of linen fabric.
Fabrics with conditions as described above are considered normal and good quality products, and returns and exchanges will not be accepted. Please be aware of this.
●When washing, please use a neutral detergent and a laundry net, or gently hand wash.
●To prevent color fading, wash separately from other items.
●After washing, do not leave it unattended; immediately reshape and hang to dry.
●Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight may cause discoloration.
●Avoid tumble drying and using bleach.
●When ironing, avoid high temperatures and use a pressing cloth.
●For light stains, gently rub with a white eraser or firmly wring a towel dampened with neutral detergent and water, then pat the stain. (Remove the cushion insert in this case.)
●If left wet from rain, snow, or sweat, color transfer may occur. If wet, remove the cushion insert (to minimize overlapping fabric) and air dry in the shade.
●To minimize color fading and stains, we recommend lightly spraying with fabric waterproofing spray before use.
●The printed areas may transfer or fade due to friction. Please be especially careful when wet.
●Due to the nature of machine weaving, this product may have thread joints or slight fraying in the fabric, but this is not a quality issue.
●Avoid long-term storage in high humidity, as this may cause mold.
※When washing, please follow the laundry care symbols on each product tag.
※Use a laundry net when washing.
