All-season comfortable sheepskin is a natural air conditioner

Sheepskin is characterized by being smooth in summer and warm in winter. Natural sheep's wool has the same composition as human hair, with each strand covered in scale-like cuticles. These cuticles absorb a large amount of moisture (about twice as much as cotton) and release it, always keeping it smooth and comfortable. Furthermore, the high-density wool traps a large amount of air, providing excellent insulation. It's very warm in winter and cool in summer, maintaining a comfortable temperature all year round, allowing for comfortable use in all seasons.

● Moisture absorption and release
The goodness of sheepskin is said to be its moisture absorption. Its water absorption rate is an astonishing 15% of its own weight. Moreover, because it absorbs moisture deep into the fibers, the surface always remains dry. Furthermore, the scaly epidermis of the overlapping fibers absorbs and releases moisture according to external humidity.
● Elasticity
When sheepskin wool is magnified, it shows waves in the fibers, which are twisted like coil springs. This is the secret to sheepskin's elasticity. Experiments have shown that a single strand of wool can stretch and contract by 30%. When countless such points are gathered, this restorative power works even more strongly, providing a fluffy and appropriate cushion.
● Insulation
Sheepskin has 3,000 to 5,000 strands of wool per square centimeter. This wool has extremely low thermal conductivity, cutting off outside air, and the numerous air pockets between the curled and intricately entangled fibers enhance its insulating effect.

・Daily Care
If the product gets dirty during use, or for minor stains, simply dissolve a neutral detergent like Monogen in lukewarm water and wipe with a towel. When drying, always turn the fur side inwards and air-dry in the shade. It's also good to brush it with a rust-free metal comb. For heavy soiling, please entrust it to a professional cleaning service.
・Storage Method
You can consider it similar to furniture or wool clothing. A well-ventilated, dry place is recommended, but you don't need to be as meticulous as with other furs. However, while the fur won't clump, please avoid folding it and try not to place heavy objects on it. Store it in a bag with insect repellent (odorless type). If stored dirty, it may be eaten by insects, so please clean it before storing.
